Water supply operator PT PAM Lyonnaise Jaya (Palyja) recently announced that it will be performing a number of important technical operations in the coming days that will result in a number of temporary water supply-related problems for Palyja customers in West Jakarta.
These supply problems are expected to last from Jan. 17 from 10 a.m. to Jan. 18 at 2 a.m. and will be the result of Palyja installing a number of raw water pumps and doing repair work for components at IPA Taman Kota.
Palyja’s water supplies will return to normal in phases on Jan. 18 starting at 2 a.m. The list of affected areas are as follow: Kembangan Utara, Rawa Buaya, Kedaung Kaliangke, Kapuk, Cengkareng Timur, Cengkareng Barat, Tegal Alur, Kamal, Kamal Muara, Pegadungan, Kalideres, and in surrounding areas.
To anticipate any potentially disastrous scenarios, Palyja has prepared all of its water tank vehicle armadas near key places such as hospitals and religious centers to provide clean water.
