Private water operator PT PAM Lyonnaise Jaya’s ( PALYJA ) West Jakarta operational region has just finished technical repairs of its water pump and the installation of a new one in Taman Kota, West Jakarta, and will thereby resume its water supply to customers as usual.
PALYJA’s water supply to its customers has gradually returned to normal again since Jan. 18 at 2 a.m. The technical repairs comprise changing the components of the company’s water pump as well as cleaning it. A new water pump has also been installed in the same area as well.
The repairs as well as the installation have temporarily disrupted water supply to the company’s customers in the West Jakarta area, and PALYJA would like to apologize for the inconveniences that the disruption has caused. Furthermore, the company would also like to thank all parties who have helped it in repairing the water pump while installing a new one.
While the technical work was in progress, PALYJA had also sent numerous water tanks to various hospitals, low-cost apartments and houses of worship to minimize the impacts of the disruption upon requests by customers.
